Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Panorooma is a school-life web application for students. Panorooma helps students organize class, coursework, announcement, and course-material information obtained from Google Classroom APIs and show that information in one dashboard.

2. How Panorooma accesses Google user data

Panorooma asks the user to sign in with a school Google Account (OAuth). After the user grants permission, Panorooma accesses Google user data through Google APIs for that signed-in user only.

Panorooma requests these scopes:

• openid / profile / email
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.courses.readonly
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.coursework.me.readonly
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.coursework.students.readonly
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.announcements.readonly
• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/classroom.courseworkmaterials.readonly

3. How Panorooma uses Google user data

Panorooma uses Google user data only to:

• authenticate the signed-in user
• display the user name, email, and profile image in the Panorooma UI
• display and organize Google Classroom courses, coursework, announcements, and materials in the Panorooma dashboard

Panorooma does not use Google user data for advertising, selling data, or training AI/ML models.

4. How Panorooma stores Google user data

Panorooma stores Google user data and related app settings only in the user's browser on the user's device:

• IndexedDB: cached Classroom data and sync/status information
• localStorage: login/session related values and app preferences

Panorooma does not operate a Panorooma backend that receives school Classroom data for storage. Authoritative school data remains in Google Workspace / Google Classroom.

5. How Panorooma shares Google user data

Panorooma does not sell Google user data. Panorooma does not share Google user data with third-party advertisers. API traffic for Classroom and profile data goes to Google API endpoints as required to provide the signed-in features. Panorooma does not transfer school Classroom data to other third-party servers for Panorooma's own storage.

6. Data deletion

• Sign out of Panorooma to clear local login information and cached Classroom data.
• Use in-app cache clear (where available) to remove cached Classroom data.
• Clear site data in the browser to remove IndexedDB and localStorage for Panorooma.
• Revoke Panorooma access from the Google Account security settings.
